Facebook Unfriend Manager
This tool helps you organize your friends list. You can find inactive accounts, select multiple friends to remove at once, and let the tool do the work for you safely. Whether you want to unfriend all friends, remove deactivated accounts, or export your friends list, this tool handles it all.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”To use this tool, you must:
- Have the Koptan Chrome Extension installed.
- Be logged in to Facebook in the same browser.

Common Use Cases
Section titled “Common Use Cases”Bulk Unfriend Inactive & Deactivated Accounts
Section titled “Bulk Unfriend Inactive & Deactivated Accounts”Facebook often keeps “Deactivated” accounts in your friends list, cluttering your profile.
- How to do it: Use the Status Filter to select “Deactivated”.
- Action: Click “Select All” and then “Start” to bulk remove these inactive profiles instantly.
Filter Friends by Gender (Remove All Males or Females)
Section titled “Filter Friends by Gender (Remove All Males or Females)”If you want to curate your friends list based on gender, our tool makes it simple.
- Unfriend all males: Set the Gender Filter to “Male”, select all, and remove.
- Unfriend all females: Set the Gender Filter to “Female”, select all, and remove.
- Check Friend Counts: To see how many male or female friends you have, simply apply the filter and check the Total Items count at the bottom of the table.
Remove Friends with Few Mutual Connections
Section titled “Remove Friends with Few Mutual Connections”Friends with zero or very few mutual friends might be people you don’t know well.
- How to do it: Use the Mutual Friends Slider to set a range (e.g., Min: 0, Max: 50).
- Action: This will filter the table to show only friends who have between 0 and 50 mutual connections with you, allowing you to easily select and remove them.
Export Facebook Friends List to CSV or Excel
Section titled “Export Facebook Friends List to CSV or Excel”Need a backup of your friends list or want to use the data elsewhere?
- Export Data: You can export your friends list to CSV or Excel formats.
- What’s Included: The export includes Friend Names, Profile URLs, User IDs, Gender, and Status.
- Backup: We highly recommend exporting your list before performing any bulk removal.
Step-by-Step Guide
Section titled “Step-by-Step Guide”1. Load Your Friends List
Section titled “1. Load Your Friends List”Click the “Sync from Facebook” button. The tool will fetch your friends list from Facebook and display everyone you’re connected with in a table.
During Sync:
- You’ll see a progress indicator showing how many friends have been loaded
- You can pause the sync using “Stop Sync” and resume later with “Resume Sync”
- The sync process is safe and mimics human browsing behavior
2. Backup Your Friends List (Recommended)
Section titled “2. Backup Your Friends List (Recommended)”Before making any changes, we strongly recommend exporting your friends list as a backup:
- Click the “Export” button above the friends table
- Choose CSV or Excel format
- The file includes: Friend Names, Profile URLs, User IDs, Gender, and Status
Important: Once you unfriend someone, you’ll need to send a new friend request to reconnect. Having a backup ensures you can reference your original friends list if needed.
3. Find People to Remove
Section titled “3. Find People to Remove”Use the available filters to narrow down your friends list:
Filter Options:
- Global Search: Search for friends by name across your entire list
- Column Filters: Click the filter icon in any column header to filter by:
- Name: Search for specific names
- Facebook ID: Filter by user ID
- Gender: Filter by “Male”, “Female”, or “Unknown”
- Mutual Friends: Set a range to find friends with specific mutual connection counts
- Status: Filter by “Active” or “Deactivated” accounts
- Clear All Filters: Reset all active filters at once
Viewing Results:
- The Friends count shows your total number of friends
- The Total Items count shows how many friends match your current filters
- Use pagination at the bottom to browse through large lists
- Last synced timestamp shows when data was last updated
Friends List Table: The table displays your friends with the following information:
- Profile Picture: Visual identification
- Name: Clickable link to their Facebook profile
- Facebook ID: Unique user identifier
- Gender: Male, Female, or Unknown
- Mutual Friends: Number of mutual connections
- Status: Active or Deactivated account
- Actions: Individual “Unfriend” button for quick single removals
4. Select Friends
Section titled “4. Select Friends”- Check the boxes next to individual friends you want to remove
- Use “Select All” to select all filtered friends at once
- The Selected count shows how many friends you’ve chosen
5. Adjust Settings (Optional)
Section titled “5. Adjust Settings (Optional)”The tool comes with safe default settings, but you can customize them:
Timing Control:
- Min Delay: Minimum seconds to wait between each unfriend action (default: 3-5 seconds)
- Max Delay: Maximum seconds to wait between actions (default: 7-10 seconds)
- The tool randomly varies the delay within this range to appear more human-like
Sleep Control:
- Sleep After: Number of actions before taking a longer break (e.g., every 10-20 actions)
- Min Sleep: Minimum seconds for the longer break (e.g., 30 seconds)
- Max Sleep: Maximum seconds for the longer break (e.g., 60 seconds)
Tip: The default settings are optimized for safety. Only adjust if you understand the risks.
6. Start Unfriending
Section titled “6. Start Unfriending”Click “Start” to begin the unfriending process.
During the Process:
- Progress Bar: Shows overall completion percentage
- Status Indicators:
- Ready: Friends queued for removal
- Processed: Total friends processed
- Success: Successfully unfriended
- Failed: Failed attempts (if any)
- Action History: Real-time log of each unfriend action
- Control Buttons:
- Pause: Temporarily stop the process
- Resume: Continue from where you paused
- Stop: Cancel the entire operation
- Clean Up Deactivated Accounts: Filter by “Deactivated” to quickly find and remove profiles that no longer exist.
- Backup First: It’s always a good idea to export your list before you start removing people.
- Start Small: Try removing just a few people first to see how it works.
Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”Is this safe for my account? Yes. The tool works slowly, taking breaks between actions to act like a real person. This keeps your account safe.
Can I remove many friends at once? Yes, you can select as many friends as you want and the tool will remove them one by one.
Can I undo this? No, once you unfriend someone, they are removed. You would need to send them a new friend request to reconnect. We recommend saving your list first.
